Our story
Hi! I’m Kevin - an educator, science lover, and the founder of Laurus Academy. I am passionate about the learning process and I believe that knowledge is the greatest gift we can give to others. I founded Laurus Academy in 2020 with a mission to make learning science as engaging and efficient as possible. Our team has grown since then and today we offer tutoring in all subjects at all levels.
We also provide the opportunity to learn science in practice. Our hands-on classes allow our students to discover the laws of physics, chemistry, and biology through learning by doing!

How do we work?
Hands-on Science class
Our students discover science in practice by conducting real-life experiments. We cover many topics including chemical experiments, surgical sutures, and microscopic observations.

Bring Science to your home
We will visit you at home with all the materials for a unique hands-on science class for your kids. We provide all equipment for your little scientists. You can choose from a variety of topics we offer or you can request a custom-themed lesson. The only thing you need is a little free space - a kitchen, basement or backyard works perfectly!

Tutoring
We match our students with tutors based on their individual needs and preferences. If the first choice isn't the perfect fit, you can always change your tutor to best accommodate your learning process.

Online and In-person
We offer both online and in-person tutoring. During our virtual classes we work on high-quality graphic equipment, so all of the equations, graphs, and diagrams are clear and easy to understand. The audio is crisp and free of any noise since we use professional studio microphones. For the best results, we use Zoom and other dedicated platforms.
If you prefer to see your tutor in person, your tutor can visit you at your home or you can meet at any other place of your choice.
